“Über comic/esports/film/drink geek, creative & columnist writer, purveyor of revelry, cocktail alchemist & time-jockey” Austin Hartman of Brooklyn stopped by Frederator New York to talk cartoons. I couldn’t help but notice his Finn neé Pen tattoo, which he happily pointed out he got in 2007(!) based on the online posting of the original short Pen made for Nickelodeon. Talk about hip!

i’m getting tired of never posting new art. (I’m drawing all the time!)
On the one hand, i want everyone to be surprised and delighted by my new work when it comes out. On the other hand, i want to share the small pleasures i have in being able to draw.
so anyway here’s a sketch i did of one of the characters from SECONDS. Figuring out her outfit for the chapter i’m starting today.
(the book will be out Summer 2013 in US/Canada, not sure about other countries yet)
